Today we FOCUS on how to make a stunning Asian Sauce,
as seen in the video recipe “30 minutes Paris Bangkok Stew”
This sauce is perfect with a good stir fry or with a quick crunchy salad.
Let’s start with the base of our sauce. It only has four ingredients.
And you’re lucky because I’ve made this recipe mnemonic !
What you need to remember is ” 4 – 3 – 2 – 1- and Action “.
Don’t worry, You’ll get it in a minute.
Start with 4 tablespoons of oil.
Any neutral oil will fit. I am using peanut oil.
It’s the Body.
Then 3 tablespoons of lime juice
Lemon also does the trick, but it’s not as tangy.
It’s the acidic part.
2 tablespoons of light Soy sauce
don’t use dark soy sauce, it’s too thick and too powerful.
It’s the salty part.
1 tablespoon of honey
A “liquid and soft” one is easier to handle.
It’s the sweet part.
The base of the sauce is ready. it has a delicious sweet, sour and salty taste.
But if you want to push it to the next level, and I know you want to ,
here are 4 ingredients which will get some serious “action” going on !
AND ACTION !
A litlle thumb of it, Gratted
Just a tiny bit, Gratted or Crushed
Depending on your liking, choose the amount of Gratted or chopped chili
A big pinch of your favorite : black, green, pink, or the one I choose sichuan
A perfect base for many asian sauces.
My favorite use of it on a fresh crunchy salad.
It’s just explosive.
I like to have it in a bottle. So convenient : Shake and Use.
IMO, You can safely store it in your fridge for a couple of days.
